Liesha Yaz is a painter whose work delves into the themes of memory, place and belonging. Her artistic vision is shaped by a deep connection to the environments she inhabits, both external and internal, and a fascination with how these spaces shape personal identity and collective experience.

Through an intuitive, tactile painting practice, Yaz uses oil paint, mixed media, and a variety of tools to create layered, atmospheric compositions. Her work captures the shifting emotions of memory and place, evoking both nostalgia and discovery. 

Yaz holds a BA Honours Degree in Painting from Brighton University and has exhibited her work internationally, earning numerous commissions. Her pieces are part of collections around the world, resonating with audiences for their ability to blend the personal and universal in deeply evocative ways.
