Dee Allyson is an American painter known for her contemporary fine art, which often features vibrant colors and a strong sense of movement.  Her works range from abstract to more representational pieces, with themes that explore the natural world, emotions, and dynamic compositions.

Her portfolio includes a diverse array of subjects, from serene landscapes to bold, abstract designs, each imbued with a sense of motion and life.  Allyson’s pieces are often described as captivating and immersive, with a style that invites viewers to interpret the layers of color and texture in personal and unique ways.

Taking inspiration from nature’s textures and imperfections, Allyson works in mixed media where she’s not restrained.  Once she starts with a blank canvas, it takes on a life of its own.  Allyson finds a rhythm to her journey through the process of creating color, shaping with layers of paint, mark making, and texturing.  It is in the editing of each piece that she finds connection with the viewer, engaging and eliciting the viewer’s own journey of emotions.
