Megan Yelets is a contemporary artist based in rural Kent, inspired by the changing seasons and the unique landscapes of Dungeness. Her evocative paintings explore the interplay of light, color, and texture, capturing both sweeping natural scenes and intricate details like beach pebbles, hedgerows, and shadows.
Megan’s intuitive process layers translucent colors to convey mood and atmosphere rather than literal representations, creating immersive visual experiences. A Fine Art graduate of UCA Canterbury (2003), she has exhibited extensively in the South East, including solo shows at Stark Gallery and group exhibitions like “Ocean Muses” at London Contemporary Art.
Through her work, Megan reimagines the beauty and mystery of the natural world with a deeply personal lens.
