Paul started his journey as an artist in 2010, working as a self taught professional wildlife artist. In 2013, his ‘Great White Shark’ won 2nd place in the esteemed BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year Award. Over the past few years paul’s art has moved away from portrait and wildlife to pop art with an ‘urban’ feel, with his ‘painted skulls’ series being exhibited in galleries across London, Brighton, Los Angeles and various cities in Europe since 2014.
Paul has sold his art to collectors around the world and had the privilege of working on commissions for a handful of celebrities & adventurers, such as the stars of Channel 4’s ‘SAS:Who Dares Wins’ hit TV show in 2019, and a commemorative piece for adventurer Scott Sears – the youngest person in history to reach the South Pole unsupported in 2016.
In 2019 Paul’s work was featured in an urban art installation in the Vienna Museum, Austria.
He works from his Studio in Sussex, England and creates art using various mediums from pencil and charcoal to acrylics and spray cans. A lot of his work is inspired by pop culture and famous icons – He has sold many pieces featuring stars like Marilyn Monroe, Muhammad Ali and even Queen Elizabeth II.
